🦍 The Big Jungle Roar

Big news in the jungle! Bloomberg’s top ETF analyst, Eric Balchunas, is sticking to his prediction that U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs will launch on July 2nd. This follows a wave of amended S-1 filings on Friday. SEC Chairman Gary Gensler hinted these ETFs are set to roll out this summer, pending SEC approval.
The SEC gave the green light to eight spot ETH ETFs last month, but they still need to approve the S-1 filings before trading can begin. Big players like Blackrock and Vaneck are in the mix, with fees looking pretty low—some even below those for spot Bitcoin ETFs. 🦍💸
Balchunas shared on X (formerly Twitter) that these filings could lead to final SEC approval soon. Blackrock has thrown in a $10 million seed investment, and Vaneck’s fee is ultra-competitive at 0.20%. Fidelity, Bitwise, 21shares, and Grayscale are also in the game but haven’t disclosed their fees yet.
The anticipation is real, with hopes for more crypto ETFs like Solana and XRP down the line. 🌴✨
