MicroStrategy Bought 5,445 Bitcoin for $150M Since August

MicroStrategy, the apex predator in the Bitcoin ecosystem, has feasted on some more Bitcoin. Between August 1 and September 24, they devoured approximately 5,445 BTC, spending a whopping $147.3 million in cash. Looks like they found a watering hole with an average price of approximately $27,053 per BTC! 💰

This isn’t their first hunt though. The company and its subsidiaries now hold a colossal stash of approximately 158,245 BTC. They’ve spent a mammoth $4.68 billion to acquire this, with an average purchase price of roughly $29,582 per Bitcoin. Talk about being bullish! 🐂

To fund this wild hunt, MicroStrategy issued and sold a total of 403,362 MSTR shares. And word in the jungle is they may raise up to $750 million more by selling additional stock, with plans to buy even more Bitcoin. Seems like they’re not done prowling the crypto savannah! 🐾

So there you have it, tribe. MicroStrategy continues to rule the Bitcoin jungle, making moves that are as bold as they come.
